Rommene ser veldig nyoppussede ut, men er ikke spesielt komfortable. Fancy farger, men dårlig generelt lys, dårlig arbeidslys. Elendig vanntrykk i sparedusjen, nesten umulig å skylle hår skikkelig. Liten skrivepult med gammel klumpete tv. Ikke nrk3!
Tynne, små håndklær. Lenestol på rommet, men mangler lampr for lesing. Ikke helfigurspeil. Liten, svak hårføner. Ikke strykejern. Få knagger til klær.
Kjedelig frokost, mangler feks smør. På spørsmål vet ikke folk på kjøkken forskjell på smør og margarin.

Modern, decent sized room, well furnished, quiet, very clean. The front receptionist I dealt with, Nina, was the best staff member I met in my two and half weeks on the road, she was really friendly and helpful (and much better than the official tourist office). Parking has to be paid for which is not unusual but was located under the hotel which is a plus. Location was good, next to the town's shopping centre and near the main restaurants and bars. The breakfast was the usual Scandinavian spread whilst the make yourself waffles in the afternoon are a welcome filler. Did not try the complementary buffet so can not comment on that. I would stay again.

We stayed for four nights. Arriving shortly after midnight we were kindly offered sandwiches and fruit by the friendly staff at reception. The hot and cold breakfast provided a wide choice to suite every palette and the complimentary light evening buffet was a huge bonus. The restaurant staff worked extremely hard to make sure that the food was hot and well presented. The bedroom was spacious and clean. Within a short walk of the bus station, ferry quays and Hurtigruten the Grand is ideally located within Bodo.

The hotel is centrally located, without noise being a major problem. Good rooms and friendly staff. There's a free evening buffet which enables to to save on dining when staying in the hotel.
