By the station, so you can't fault the positioning, I was expecting a hotel but really this is one of the shedload of youth hostels you find in Norway. On the first floor above the station (which means the station shop is very close), it was clean and well kept.
The room faced the railway line which isn't busy at all, though you might get woken by an early morning train. Perfectly functional room with TV. Shared kitchen was useful.
There is a late night coach terminus outside which again makes this a useful location for the traveller and there was no additional noise.
Local pizza place in what is otherwise a fairly small town.
Parking in the station car park, but you need the permit from the receptionist to avoid any parking fines. There is a subway from the car park to the station.
