The hotel website says — "Check in is possible from 2pm until 9pm. If you are not able to check in until 9pm, we ask you to inform us." I emailed them to come later, I did not got any reply, but that is quite common — hotels do not reply but they have the info. When I arrived - the hotel was closed, noone around, everything locked.

The hotel is quite far away from the train station, as well as from the closest tramstop — when this happens later at night in cold autumn, it really is no fun. And you have to solve your "i-don't-have-where-to-sleep" problem...

We stayed at Beta Hotel last September,when we got there
we didn't know what to expect.Other hotels that we have stayed in
Europe there was a way of booking tours from the hotel and
Beta didn't have that option.Anyway Ancelet made us feel at ease,
she called the tour company,booked the tour that we chose
and they came to pick us up.
The hotel is very clean.We loved the huge shower,also they even
gave us a fan and hair dryer.
Our cell phone didn't work,we we're very worried,since we had
to leave very early in the morning ,but once again,Ancelet
made a reservation for a taxi to pick us up early in the morning
and to our surprise,the cab came early and we left Vienna
without any problems.
We will definitely stay at the Beta Hotel,if we visit Vienna in the future.
We liked the convenience of having the 2 grocery stores within walking distance of the hotel, also the bus and the subway system were nearby

I stayed at the Beta during a trip to Vienna in October 2007. At the time, the hotel had been open only a few weeks. As such, there were no reviews available and I was nervous about the unknown. In the end, though, the Beta was quite a pleasant surprise.

The hotel is a converted apartment building, completely renovated for use as a hotel. It is what I would call a "boutique" hotel — it has a small number of rooms, some of which are different from the others.

The hotel staff were kind, friendly and helpful. The rooms were simple but clean, the linens crisp and white, and the beds quite comfortable. The hotel also had complimentary high-speed Internet if you had a network cable.

The breakfast was good and plentiful, although the selection wasn't quite as impressive as I've come to expect from hotels in Germany and Austria. I just wrote that off as the hotel being new and still figuring things out.

The hotel isn't particularly close to the main attractions of Vienna, but it is only a couple blocks from public transportation that connects you to the subway system. There were several restaurants and a grocery store nearby.

I'd definitely stay at the Beta again. In fact, I've been looking for a good excuse to escape to Vienna.
