Pros: great location, just inside Vienna's inner ring. Convenient access to tons of shopping, classical music, opera, and restaurants. Relatively quiet for a hotel in the heart of a city. Good, English-speaking service. Really nice, modern bathroom with a cool-looking sink and good water pressure in the shower.

Cons: not the greatest view - our window opened up to a space across a courtyard, where we saw the other side of the building. Elevator was narrow and slow, so good luck getting your luggage upstairs. Location was great, but we had the darndest time trying to find the place. It's like a hole in the wall, tucked in an entryway for the next-door jewelry store. You would never know it was there. Food is not included.

All in all, we liked the hotel, and we thought the service was great and the location terrific.

This B&B had mostly pros, but some cons. The pros were the price, location, clean rooms, nice bathroom, very friendly staff, free internet and a computer to use. the major con for me was that the breakfast was not included in their price and it would be delivered to your room since there is no kitchen to eat in. just not sure you can call this a true bed and breakfast when what it really just bed. Also, since the Opera House is so close, it is VERY loud. personally, i just put in ear plugs and was out. my sister didn't have ear plugs so she got no sleep the first night. on top of that, someone tried to break into our room that night. i didn't hear it because of the ear plugs but my sister did hear it. a number of times i saw that the entrance door to the hotel was kept open. i know the staff didn't do this, but there is nothing to ensure that people properly shut the doors. it was very scary to have someone try to break into our room.
all and all, i enjoyed our stay. the location is amazing. i didn't give it 5 stars because i do feel there is room for improvement. 1) soundproof the rooms, 2) include breakfast in your price, 3) have some sort of alarm installed that insures that the front door doesn't remain wide open for more than "x" minutes. this really is unsafe for your guests.

just spent two wonderful nights at this property, offering an amazing price for the location (right next to Opera house; famous Sacher Hotel - where you would usually pay EUR 400; yet the same size of rooms and almost the same interior) - would return anytime. You cant get wrong by booking there.

The Opera suites is a misrepresented on there web site. It looks elegant and is priced as if it really were!
But---- its is up several flights of narrow stairs. The elevator is the size of a coffin and stopped working with two people in it while we were there!
The rooms are small and shabby. The bed spread was old and faded and the love seat was soiled and had cigrett burn holes.
The noise for Karnter Steet is very loud gos on all night. The rooms are so hot that one must try to sleep with the windows open.
It is dishonestly advertised and a shabby rip Off!
