I can neither recommend nor specifically not recommend this hotel to someone else, but unfortunately I had to choose thumbs up or down.
The beds were comfortable although in my room, there were just two twin beds pushed together, which would not be comfortable for a couple. The breakfast had a lot of variety and I ate well, but the bread was stale. It would be better not to have 10 kinds of bread but maybe 3 and have them be fresh. There was free internet, but I do not know if that comes standard or just with the rooms reserved for the conference. The hotel was okay for the price of 84 euros, but that is a rate for the conference attendees. I do not think it is worth much more than that.
The most worrisome aspect was the fact they don't seem to write anything down. I read about miscommunications on tripadvisor and actually witnessed a pretty nasty one. The couple were trying to check out and said they canceled the last night of their stay on arrival- more than 24 hours in advance. First the woman said they didn't do that and them moved on to trying to tell them a deposit is taken for the last night, which based on my communication with them just isn't true. I walked away feeling relieved that I hadn't experienced such an expensive negative reaction.
When I went back to request a cab reservation, the receptionist took my name on a scratch piece of paper. But when I returned for my cab to the airport, there was none! And the new receptionist took up a clip board and said I hadn't ordered one! I was shocked, but I eventually made it to the airport.
In short, I would not recommend this hotel because of the apparent lack of organization and risk of miscommunication. It is an okay deal if you get a reduced price.
