The hotel is located 50 meters or so from a metro that will take you straight to the city centre of Vienna, being only five stops away. I booked a single room, and didn´t know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that the room was very big, and included a nice, warm bathroom. The standard of the room was very high at such a low cost, so I am very happy with the hotel. The staff was also superfriendly and polite. The rooms are very clean. Only annoying thing is the check out at 10 am, which I find a bit early.

This is an OK choice if you are looking to save money.

Location: It is 2 blocks away from the metro, the trains run every 6 min, so you can be in the inner circle in about 15 min. The area is safe but felt a bit depressing to us- not a lot of trees, nice architecture, restaurants, shops etc. (it was also gray and rainy the entire time we were there)

Rooms: The rooms match the price. Our triple room, had a dorm room feel (2 single beds plus bunk beds). Our room had cheap Ikea furniture & not the most comfortable beds. The shower was nothing special - but there was always hot water. Someone does come to clean the room daily- but they don't do a great job.

Hotel: Feels more like a youth hostel than a hotel. There are lots of large groups coming and going. The free wifi is in the lounge only. They have cheap beer during happy hour. We met a lot of travelers in their early 20's, but there were people of all ages staying here.

As for hostel- the service is OK!
the guy on the reception was ready to help , telling the directions. Free Wifi only in the lobby.
There is a street with shops nearby and a Columbus centrum(a big shop) , during christmas holidays - there is a "christmas market" on this street.

Great location , lot of shops in the main street.
Clean, really warm-- so no problem during the winter -- plus, you will find a cool staff !
