Stayed here for 3 nights. Rooms really need updating! The hotel says is is nonsmoking, yet the staff smoke heavily in the lobby and the smell permeates the hotel. I asked for a piece of scrap paper one night to make notes (had to use my computer in lobby becuase internet connection too weak in room and I had to pay for it!) and on one side of the peice of paper was a copy of someone's passport. apparently they make a copy of your passport when you check in, and then use these copies in very unsafe ways. when I brought it to the attention of the night manager he just shrugged his shoulders and told me I could take it up with the manager, and then told me it is no problem what they do. The breakfast was gernerous and they were very nice in the dining room. Location is right across from a metro station, but hotel itsself not in a very good neighborhood. No choices for meals nearby.

The staff was very friendly and greeted us each time we entered the hotel. It was easy to get to this hotel using public transportation. The underground was not working the day we arrived, but the people in the area helped us find the hotel. We were there 3 of the hottest days in July, and the staff was sweating at the front desk, but were always asking if they could help. They gave us directions to everywhere we wanted to go. The breakfast was great and we sat in the courtyard each morning. If you sleep light, make sure to request a room that isnt facing the busy street.

I chose Hotel Cryston after reading many good reviews in Trip Advisor and was not disappointed. The hotel is close to a subway entrance and is about 5-10 minutes ride to all the popular locations. The location is safe to travel alone even at night. The room was very clean, breakfast (included in the rate) was decent, staff very helpful. I was very happy to have found this place for such a great rate.

The room was comfortable and clean. Service was very good. Delicious breakfast. U-ban station just across the street. Really good price when comparing the service and quality.
