hotel near all the good things to do and see but no tea making facilities in the room which we really missed and no aircon!but overall for the money it was okay

They gave someone else the key to my room so out of nowhere someone enters my room and I'm thinking WTF, luckily I was there or I could have been cleaned out. Air conditioning was beautiful, wired Internet fast (wifi in lobby) and although forbidden my room had a balcony so I could get some laundry done. Located near 3 metro stations, also within walking distance of old Vienna. Breakfast fairly typical, and rooms have a dormitory look and feel to them. Despite the double-booking, which they apologized for and offered me free use of a safe I'd recommend it for those looking for something a step-up from a hostel.

We were in Vienna for two nights for sightseeing. This hotel, although quite basic is really ... well all you need. It was clean, staff was helpful and friendly and it was very near the center. Also, the breakfast was excellent - everything was fresh and there was a huge variety.

This place is a wonderful find, very competitively priced for Vienna and only 20 mins walk, or two stops on the metro, from the centre.

I believe during term time this is a student halls of residence, however becomes a great quiet budget hotel for the summer. My room on the top floor was absolutely spotless and furnished simply, very IKEAesque, with silent effective air conditioning. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the continental buffet breakfast will keep you filled up until lunch. There are restaurants in the neighbourhood and a particularly good beer garden nearby.

Ok, you won't get luxury, but for those on a tight budget looking for clean simple accommodation for a few nights, you can't get better than this.
