This hotel is more like a school dormitory, with a large strip light in the room. The dining room is often over crowded with no place to sit, so they shut the door and you have to stand outside waiting for someone to leave before you can go in! There are two very small lifts again too small for the size of hotel, on our last day we had to carry our luggage down four flights of stairs, because the lifts were full ( they only hold 4 people and luggage with a squeeze). One other minus is the lack of air conditioning, it was so hot we needed to have the window open. Only to be woken at 6am sharp every morning by the builders working directly accross the street from our room. The one big plus is the hotels location, only a few minutes walk from the main tourist attractions including the Naschmarket where there are many good and inexpensive restaurants.

The hotel is really all you need. Its close to the center, you can reach the historical center in a few minutes by foot, the rooms are basic but clean large, the breakfast is realy varied. all i needed in my short trip to Vienna :)

Very surprising that there is no Air Condition in this hotel!!! Couldnt sleep the whole night. the reception staff was not very co-operative. The next day mornign when we wanted to check-out, the Fire alarm went off and there was a total chaos. We had to miss the breakfast as we could have missed our train.

The hotel has big plus and big minus in it's location. The plus is that they are within 10 walking minutes from the Ringstrasse and 8 minutes from the Naschmarkt. The minus on the other hand is that it's about the same time to get to the nearest metro station and about 6 minutes to get to tram station, so if you have no problem with walking a bit, you can get to central locations by foot, but if that's a problem, you can't just hope on public transportation close to the hotel. Also, the rooms were really big and that's always a nice plus, since too many times the rooms are just tiny. The staff was very helpful and all could speak English. Breakfast was a bit mediocre, probably the worst breakfast we had in our trips. It was decent, but not more than that. Also, as many said already, the breakfast room gets really crowded and it's hard to find a seat. We spent there three nights and all three times shared our table with another couple and once needed to wait about 10 minutes to do even that, since there was no place to sit. Bottom line is that I do recommend this hotel. It's cheap, rooms are big and close to the center.
