good location close to underground about 2 mins walk good reasonably priced restaraunts nearby, about 10min walk to hoffburg palace and meuseum quarter would have no problem in staying here again

We stayed in the hotel several days ago. The room was big and airy and equipped with all necessary stuff. The host was nice, friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is superb: in a walking distance from main city spots, 2 minutes away from the subway. The only drawback was the noise from the street (our windows faced the road and the traffic was a bit annoying during the first night, but then, when we fell asleep full of impressions, exhausted but happy, it didn't bother us at all:) We really enjoyed our stay there and will recommend it to our friends.

My room was small but neat and everything in the bathroom worked just fine. The reception of the TV channels was good. The location of Pension Liechtenstein is excellent, many of Vienna's sights are within walking distance. I also liked the staff.

The room is very hot summer as there is no AC but the staff offered me a fan, which certainly helped. The room also faced a busy street, so e.g. sleeping with the window open (due to the heat) wasn't an option, at least not for me. There doesn't seem to be much insulation either, as I could hear very well when people spoke in the room next to mine. I recommed bringing earplugs along if you are staying at this pension. Still I would say that the price/quality ratio for Pension Liechtenstein is a good one.

The plus for this Pension is it's location: it is about 5 minutes of walk to 1st district of Vienna (city center) and is easy to reach it (OK, I have lived in Vienna for 2,5 years, but anyway...). Also, rooms are quite nice, and everybody is very friendly, no comment at all.
However, what I didn't like is the breakfast which was buffet style, but very limited: some salamy, chease, cornflakes, butter and jam, but quantities were very limited. If you ask for more, you'll get it with no comment, but it makes you feel bad for asking almost every time. Also, there was no fruit at all.
Price was also ok (EUR 89 per room per night with breakfast for 2 adults), but if you need cheap stay, I would better recommend Etap hotel in Vienna: location is not so good, room has no closet, but breakfast is much better, and price is EUR 61 for two adults per night with breakfast.
