We arrived late in the evening and made our way from the metro stop to the hotel. It was a very foggy evening, but you could see the bright red hotel sign through the fog. A five minute walk and we were there to check in. The dates on our travel voucher differed from those that the hotel had, but they were great in sorting something out with us. The room was big enough for the two of us, slightly bigger than a standard European hotel, and cleaned to a high standard.
The breakfast was wonderful, and the staff were even better. We spent each morning chatting with one of the girls, who remembered our drink order from before. Even when she was busy, we would be acknowledged with a smile, or a greeting.
The hotel is located a little bit out of the city centre of Vienna, but is in close proximity to a metro stop, so getting into the city is easy. It is close to Prater Park and the ferris wheel, although it is a bit of a ghost town when we were there in mid November.
All in all, this hotel is value for money and worth the metro ride out of the city.
