Great value for money. Very helpful staff. Nice warm rooms, well equipped with comfy beds, fridge, hairdryer and plenty of towels. Located in a busy but friendly area with interesting shops and a cheap supermarket close by.
We choose this hotel for it's location only a few minutes walk from the Vienna Stadthalle - perfect!

This was chosen because we were nearing the end of trip and budget an issue. We also wanted to be near the main Westbahnhof station. This very well located, near two tram lines and only (in our case) 10 mins walk from the underground. We snapped up the Vienna card, the guy was helpful with map on arrival and we were on our way. Rooms basic, probably just above an up market hostel, breakfast plentiful and fresh (they could use a toaster) and enough to get you started on the day in Vienna. As noticed many doing we grabbed some rolls for lunch on the run, so very cost effective. Had a problem getting room cool enough (not the first time in Europe) which was only solved by opening window (made it noisy) for a while before going to bed. Advertised wifi (throughout hotel) was very iffy but they said they were working on it. room could use kettle. Shower was one of the best we had in Europe - you could actually regulate it without scalding yourself. Management helpful but their hands tied a bit in an old building and budget.

The rooms where comfortable and warm, and the breakfast was basic but very nice with a lit choice but enough to start your day walking around Vienna.I found that if you print a map of the tram lines before you go it is so much easier to travel about.Just outside of the hotel you have two tram lines.Number 5 tram take you to Westbahnof in two stops which is a main station and the over tram is the number 49 which takes to into the centre very easliy (Voltgarten) then a easy walk to the palaces and beyouned.At Westbahnof a coach arrives from the airport every 30 minutes at 7 euro each is very good (45 minute jounery).
This hotel is very good value and i would reccommed it on a bugdet.
