Of course you get a minimum of convenience, and the lobby and hall is quite presentable. But everything is old in here. An elevator that you don't want to trust, shabby patchwork furniture in the rooms (and far to much! what do you need two differend styled armchairs and an additional table for in a room which is allready filled with two single beds, a cuboard, a desk, and a minibar (on 12m²), no bathtub (isn't that 4 star standard?) No way to stirr your shirt, no AC, a television as big as a sheet of paper, old cloth in front of the window in order to keep it dented, rooms are small., internet slow, yellowed curtains.. Oh by the way not even the minibar prices are 4 star standard. 2,70€ for a tea bag which normally is free in this category.

Chose this hotel because convenient location near the major train station and metro. As a place to sleep for one night it is acceptable. Service was strange, unprofessional. The hotel does not seem to be well run. Rooms are small and outdated. No specific complaints, but somewhat spooky atmosphere in what I later realised is not the best neighboorhood in Vienna.

The breakfast was not for a 4 star hotel. It's amazing to find bad bread in a Country famous for its breads good quality and variety. Coffee tasted as being prepared hours ago. Only 1 type of juice. The room was small with old curtains and a strange smell. After a shower the floor was always damped. All fashioned toilet. Small and old tv. Electrical plugs in funny places (internet plug over my pillow). No hotel service guide or city information on the desk of my room. No courtesy shampoo & moisturizing lotion. Well located two steps from the West Train Station, but a long way walk if you want to get to down town (6 subway stops).

good location of hotel,next to the west railroad station( one of the main railroad stations ) in vienna,close to restaurants,and shopping,location is not the best district in vienna ,but its safe.The hotel is not a 4 star hotel,its a 2.5 star hotel,decor of my room was dated torn curtains,roomok relaxing and clean,i stayed for 4 nights,i was under the impression that breakfast was includet ,the desk clerk informed that it was not,it was not a big problem for me.Before i left i paid my bill with my credit card.Since the i have received every month new charges on my credit card for different amounts,from first $ 1.27,then $22.60.then$122.45.then $377.60,the credit company is dealing with this.I had and still have a very frustrating time to get every things resolved.So i certaintly would never ever stay in this hotel again.
