We (2 parents, 1 grown-up child and 1 regular child) booked the apartment, which was huge, posh and in need of just a little extra care (the jacuzzi, the kitchen utensils...). The almost-private patio and especially the trampoline more than helped to overcome these small misgivings. The street outside is noisy on workdays but 1. the windows are very good at cancelling out that noise and 2. we were there Saturday to Monday. The best thing about this hotel is the proximity of very numerous and very cosy Heurigen (for the un-Vienna-initiated: family-run and 100% authentic Austrian food places which also serve home-made wine, or is it vice versa, at great prices, portions, and quality), and this (in my mind) greatly outweighs the fact that you need 20 minutes to get to the Liechtenstein Museum, or even 40 minutes to the Kunsthistorisches by bus + tram. BTW, try the Friseurmuller (sic) up the road, recommended, very wisely, by the nice girl at the hotel's reception.
