This hotel is simple but rebuild. An structure modern elegant with every confort. Very good the rooms, cleans and very large. If I come back in Wien I'll choose again this accomodation. Sure.

This hotel has recently be renovated which means that there are new bathrooms e.g..
The lobby area looks new too, there is a little bar and the area where breakfast is served. Breakfast is a good continental buffet with coffee/tea, bred, rolls, fruits, different marmalades, ham and cheeses.
The room was bigger than expected for being a city hotel. It wasn't big but the closet for example was relatively big. Our room was on the back side of the building with a little balcony, very quiet.
We asked the service once to fix the door to the bathroom and they immediately helped us.
I strongly recommend this hotel for either a leisure or business trip.
By he way WiFi is included, connection is very good, we got the access code at the reception.

Pro:
- close to Belvedere Castle and just a few blocks from Karlsplatz (7 min. walk)
- our room overlooked a huge treed, walled-off property and so it was like looking into a forest, even though we faced the Vienna city centre. Very quiet!
- small hotel
- reasonably priced
- stylish lobby
- quiet street
- easy to sleep with windows open (quiet)
- beds comfortable
- a 5 min. walk to subway, and just 3 subway stops to the train station. Subway at street level has elevator for those pulling luggage.

Con:
- cooked part of breakfast was late, i.e. no eggs until about 1 hour after breakfast start
- desk staff occasionally smoke, and this pervades the lobby where breakfast is served

I would stay in this hotel again.

I stayed here on business and was pretty disappointed. I agree with other reviews in that this is conveniently placed next to the excellent U1 and it’s very easy to get to the conference centre. It’s also in a safe area. Shops and restaurants are walking distance.

However it wasn’t cheap. The room was tired with stained carpets and old furniture. The hallway was noisy at times and the room not well insulated from what noise there was. There was NO room wi-fi, which is poor bearing in mind this is a ‘business hotel’, and there was only one plug.

I addition, it’s quite tall and the lift stops working before midnight. Finally - an odd problem. On my first night I was kept awake all night by dripping. Outside some of the rooms there is a metal balcony rail, and the roof drips onto this LOUDLY when it rains. I didn’t sleep a wink my first night there – also not good for business.
