the drawback to this Hostel is that you have to walk quite awhile to reach Vienna's main attractions, but all in all it was simply great! it was clean, affordable (especially since we were travelling on a budget) and friendly. the room had the bare essentials which was fine by us and the hostel taxi service was brilliant too. close to the train station. worth every penny.

The hostel is quite big. The rooms are clean and in good condition.
There is a nar with a good atmosphere during late afternoon.
The only bad thing is it is a bit far away the center, not too well situated but it only takes 10 min to get the metro to the ring.

Great party atmosphere in the Bar area, which makes meeting people very easy. The bar staff a great fun!! It is in a minor red light district and you do have to walk down a long semi dark side street to get the base unlike the lounge located just down the street. However we were two young girls, first night got a little bit of a fright was we just did not expect to see the girls on the corner but the whole 3nights we spent walking up to the hostel we had no problems what so ever and did not feel uneasy. The staff are very helpful and the breakfast is cheap but good.
