We found this hotel very friendly and helpful. Very convenient for the metro and for getting around Vienna. Breakfast was substantial and a lot better than most of the hotels we have stayed in. The free christmas- season pastries on reception were a nice touch.We would agree with other Reviewers that the hotel and rooms are very clean Don't bother about the Airport train. The S Bahn goes closer to the hotel and is a lot cheaper. If you're tempted to go on the Weiner Riesenrad [Big wheel] in thepark close to the Hotel don't buy the photo they will try to sell you. It is far smaller than the impression you're given and massively overpriced.

Very nice hotel and very good located (near Prater and U-bahn). Hotel is very clean and quiet. Very friendly and helpful staff. Also the breakfast was very good with excellent choice of meals. The bathroom had heated floor and room is designed in modern style.

Perfect breakfast, very clean and quiet hotel.Excellent location, easy to get there (at the airport:pick out S-bahn 7 get off station Praterstern choose exit Heinestrasse then walk about 400m and you will be there). Warmhearted staff.Waiting for the next visit at this lovely hotel!

We really enjoyed staying at Der Wilhelmshof. It is well located in a quiet street round the corner from the Prater Park, only 3 stops by U-Bahn from the central cathedral station. The rooms are spacious, modern, clean and comfortable, and are sound-proofed so amazingly peaceful with none of the usual hotel noises to disturb your slumber. Breakfast was one of the best ever, with loads of choice, and the staff were very helpful and professional. We would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a good quality hotel close to the city centre.
