I always enjoy my stay here, courtyard rooms are very quiet, spotlessly clean - the hotel everywhere is very clean. I stay in many hotels in UK for business each week and I think they should send their staff for training here! The rooms vary in size but I was lucky enough to be upgraded this time to one of the smart new "Superior Plus" rooms, very good indeed and worthy of at least 4 star. Modern bathroom with classy new shower, wood floor, very comfortable beds.
Location fantastic- train from Airport 5 mins walk away, Underground and trams less than 5 mins walk, can walk to city centre in 15 minutes, through nice old Vienna streets. Got a Coach to Brno in Czech for 8 euros very close to hotel, brand new coach with leather seats, videos and free coffee- "StudentBus".
Staff friendly and helpful as always, free PC in the reading room, nice quiet reading room with some nice books for browsing if weather too bad to go out, and Sauna/ small gym downstairs which hardly seems to be used, a shame as its very clean and new.
Breakfast good, would be nice to have some tomato with the sliced peppers and cucumber to add to some cold meat or cheese, but plenty and always stocked up. Hot bacon and scambled egg tasty, will boil an egg for you if you ask.
Staff don't change, they all stay on which in the Hotel industry is quite something, I've been staying there for more than 4 years and I its same reception staff, so they must be happy employees and looked after by the management. A great hotel in Vienna, but dont tell to many people as I want to be able to get a bed their next time I go!

Staff were very helpful, breakfast was great, and the rooms were comfortable, if a bit warm. Great value and would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Charming family run hotel in quiet area with quick and easy access to city center via nearby metro (station 2 blocks). One of a kind personal hotel experience, rather than typical chain. Friendly staff recommended Vienna Card for unlimited transportation, and discounts on attractions. The card more than paid for itself. Our room was not large, but clean and quite adequate for the time we spent in our room. Breakfast was included. Although there is no restaurant on premises, there is a cheerful breakfast room with adjoining outdoor patio. Breakfast buffet had many choices of juices, breads, jams, pastries, fruits, meats, cheese, cereals, coffees, hot chocolate, and even cappuccino. Neighborhood had lots of shops, restaurants and bars - felt like a typical neighborhood, not a tourist area. Felt safe walking outdoors even at night. I would choose this hotel again and recommend for tourists or business. Free internet. Helpful staff even offered to store our luggage for 2 weeks while we toured other cities by train.

I spent three nights here with my husband and mother arriving on Christmas Day. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms comfortable, tastefully furnished and clean. The single non-smoking room my mother had booked smelt strongly of smoke thanks to s previous guest, so the reception staff immediately gave her an alternative (double) room at no extra cost.
The reception staff recommended us the traditional restaurant opposite for dinner and we enjoyed excellent meals there too.
The breakfast buffett provided a very good range of delicious things to eat and one could choose between helping oneself to various kinds of coffee (eg. capuccino) from the buffett or having a pot of filter coffee brought to the table.
We felt comfortable and relaxed here and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay in Vienna.
The only negative thing I could say is that I had to kneel on the toilet to reach the make up mirror, which wasn't ideal.
