this pension was ok. the breakfast was fine, except not much fresh fruit, i think only prunes. i had a double room, which was quite large and clean. everything worked fine. there were a few international t.v. channels. it was very quite in that neighborhood. it´s about a 12 minute walk to the subway station and there were some nearby tram lines but i don´t know where they went. you could walk to the main tourist areas in about 30 or 40 minutes. maybe less for some.
it´s sort of in a residential non tourist area, and the disadvantage to that was that there was no late night place to buy snacks, water, etc. there were only a few restaurants about 10 minutes away, not good value places. there are two supermarkets nearby, but they close early, and are closed on sunday. but they did have good value sandwiches and prepared salads you could buy.
in january it was too cold to do the walk, but in other months it´s probably fine. i had a nice room with refrigerator, but i think most rooms are more sparse. it was still a reasonable value. the owner was reasonably friendly and was there at every breakfast.
