Very cute pension in a perfect central Vienna location. We were originally booked in another location but after one night we decided to move. The Pension Neuer Markt had space for us. The room was a bit small for the 5 of us, but how much time do you spend in your hotel??? This hotel was about a 1 minute walk to the subway, and only a couple of minutes to St. Stephensplatz. Our room looked out onto a very pretty square. Several restaurants nearby. The breakfast was great. This is a typical European pension. We would definitely stay again.

I stayed at Pension Neuer Markt because of its location, in the very heart of the city center of Vienna. I was a little dissapointed with the quality of the rooms, very old really. They need a renovation and most of all, some kind of wall insulation because I could hear everything they talked on the room next door, and the toilet flushing every time in use. It was anoying. The staff was helpfull, the breakfast barely good, and the price a little high according to the service. But again, the location is fabulous.

We stayed 2 nights and found Pension Neuer Markt to be clean, comfortable beds, great ensuite bathroom and friendly staff. The location was excellent, walking distance to all of the attractions. The staff on reception were helpful and gave great tips about how to get to places in Vienna. I would highly recommed staying here.

Great location in the very centre of the old city. Near all main attractions with easy access to bus tram and rail locations.
Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff. Good standard of cleanliness with good beds. Some decor particularly bedroom carpet rather tired but overall a good place to stay. Was very quiet but hotel was not full.
Very useful pick up and return to the airport.(Optional)
