Where do I start? Let's put things in perspective - this "hotel" is actually a dormitory during the school season, and had I known that beforehand I would have looked elsewhere. The staff at the desk was anything but helpful, never having change for the machines in the lobby, even though they collect deposits for fans and other stuff at the desk. In true European tradition, THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING! We stayed here during a week where the temps were in the mid-90s during the day and the 80s at night, and we sweated through every night here with only a fan to move the hot air. The rooms are very basic, with beds and closets and a small bathroom. The room cleaning was poor, with the same pillowcases and sheets used during most of those sweaty nights - the pillows were horrendous - I've seem dog beds with more stuffing than these pillows. The floors were consistently dirty, with what appeared to be a quick pass of a dry mop. The only bright spot here is the breakfasts. The dining room staff was polite and efficient, and the food was rather good, with a large selection of cereals, meats, and breads. So in summary, avoid this low-end hostel masquerading as a hotel and look elsewhere.

Great hotel, breakfast varied and plentiful but was really stood out was the great location and ease of transfer from the airport. The bus stops literally across the bridge from the hotel's street and was very easy to find.

In terms of location, this hotel is very central and although we had quite a walk to the Hundertwasserhaus, the shops, bars, restaurants and sites were very close.

On top of all that, the city is wonderful and people extremely helpful and friendly.

Everything was ideal. Clean, convenient, affordable. Easy access to the UBahn as well. A bit tricky to find at first though. Great breakfast too! Loved being able to make a few sandwiches for later in the day.

my husband and I stayed in a hotel for one night, very good location, just waling distance to prater and stephansdom, friendly staff, nice breakfast :)
