We had a great 2 night stay here in January 2012. We booked the site after seeing positive reviews on tripadvisor. We were traveling by car and needed a car space, the hotel was really helpful and advised us that parking on the street was free on the weekend (bonus!). The hotel itself is 'old school' but it really is part of its charm. It was incredibly clean and very warm as it was freezing outside. They also had free wifi which was really useful. The staff were great and were able to recommend restaurants for dinner and we enjoyed the local delicacies. We had breakfast included in our deal and there was a lot on offer-hot food as well as an array of cold meats, cheeses, Danishes, cereal etc.

The location of the hotel is very good. Its located in a quiet street just off a main road. It's a short walk to St Stephens, about a 5min walk-it's about 2 blocks. All of the main attractions in the old city are very accessible from this hotel and we had a great time. There are some awesome cafes around this area and we had a good time sampling all of the delicious cakes!

We had a lovely 3 nights at this hotel. Breakfast was acceptable although we didn't like the way they cooked the bacon. The room was clean and warm. The WiFi was free and reliable. The hotel is old and looks like it hasn't been updated in many years but it is well maintained and charming, the only concern is that the doors do not auto lock and you have to lock by key even from the inside or leave it unlocked all night. Key can be left at reception when you go out as it is very heavy. Otherwise this is a good hotel and it is very close to many restaurants, the cathedral, the tram and the underground. Staff were also very helpful.

1st visit to Vienna - stayed 4 nights - airport bus is cheap, fast, ridiculously simple to navigate even when you arrive exhausted. Maybe 10 min walk from bus stop to hotel with luggage. Small and charming hotel. Reception desk help perfectly professional if not oozily friendly -- the breakfast staff extremely hard-working and cheerful. Superb breakfast buffet graciously presented. Windows open in the room!!! Asked for and got a tea/coffee maker - not a wonderful contraption but great to have even that. Hotel is on a very short perfectly tidy/safe alley and noise absolutely never a problem. 2nd floor room: easy hop down the lovely winding staircase (yes, there is an elevator) and out the door smack into the heart of Vienna in about 5 minutes. Small quibble: lovely tub but the soap dispensers/shampoo halfway up the wall - obviously setup for showers. Otherwise room just fine. I'd stay again if only for the breakfast + ease of a small hotel.

After reading many good reviews about this hotel decided to try it on our recent Austria visit.
We were absolutely satisfied! Very close to center and a stone throw away from U-bahn station(there is a short cut going down some steps next to church) and a 3 min walk to Morzingplatz where the buses to /from airport park.
A bit dated but well kept and functional. Breakfast much better than 4 star hotels we tried before.
Yes will definitely use this hotel in future visits.
