spent there 8 days in December 2010! in a good location where the U-bahn is very close. a very warm room with good bed and bathroom, but with also very very thin walls!!!!! we could hear the people next door almost like they were in the same room with us!!!!

I travelled to vienna for august bank holiday weekend. This hotel is located at a very excellent place, just 2 minutes walk from U4 underground line in vienna city. Included Breakfast was very good and is available from 6:45 till 10:30 in morning. Rooms were comfortable and with basic ameneties. Would definitely recommend to people travelling to vienna who want to stay at reasonable price and near to public transport

A well located hotel (only 2 or 3 subway stops from city center) with old fashion furnitured rooms. Looked nice allthough the bath room appeared modest. Break fast was good and rich but with 12 EUR way too expensive. Friendly staff. But really annoying were the "thin walls" you could here person walking, speaking... on the floor and in the next rooms. Especially in the morning you will get up with first leavers and businessmen at 6am. Don't think of the elevator.

Well, I visited the Hotel Deutschmeister on my honeymoon. Actually it was a wedding present from a family friend via RCI. I do not know if that had to do with it, but I wasn't excited.

Our room was a spacious one, in an old building of the Hotel, not in the main one; it was clean, but very heavy with old furniture and big curtains, which did not allow much light in. It definitely was not what I thought a 3-star hotel would be. Major disappointment the fact that we had to pay for breakfast, 12 euros per person (we certainly did not; we could eat a whole lot of delicious stuff from the bakeries in that price).
It was very close to the underground station (U-Bahn), though; that was definitely a plus.

Overall, it was not bad, but, considering that when I visited Vienna again, after 18 months, I stayed in a 1-star hotel, with much better conditions and definitely a better price, I would say, "If you travel on a budget, look somewhere else".
