Good things
1) Its economical . booked the room for around euro 70 per night with breakfast
2) decent breakfast. However dnt like the idea of 4 star hotels serving watery squash instead of good juice
3) 10-15 mins walk to City centre with a tram stop just outside hotel
4) Smooth quick check in at reception

Negative things:
1) Surely it cannot be 4 star at any cost. At best it is 3 star
2) Smallest bathroom i have seen in a 4 star rated hotel
3) rooms were ok, but disspointed to see left over crisp bags in the room at check in

Would definitely recommend this hotel if you looking for decent and clean hotel at cheap price, but not if you looking for superior quality and right in city centre.

Reasonable location (3-4 Strassenbahn stops from city center and walking distance from Schloss Belvedere), large lobby and restaurant (sometimes overcrowded) with tiny rooms. The third bed (usually an armchair) was unprepared when we arrived. Three people cannot move in the room at the same time. The housekeeping staff seems unprofessional. The bathroom is ok. Wi-fi is paid in the room.

We spent one night here on our tour - I honestly don't remember much about the hotel apart from the rooms being fairly small considering how elegant the lobby was.

The hotel artis is on the Rennweg stop of the Snell Bahn or only three tram stops from Schwarzberg Platz in central Vienna. The hotel charges fifteen euros a night parking, and parking is very difficult and expensive in Vienna. There is no air conditioning in the rooms and the long hall ways are airless.

Eventhough, the hotel advertises free TV and CNN , CNN does not work. We had several lights that did not work in our room making it very dark. We complained on Friday, but nothing was done until Monday.

The free breakfast is forgettable, there is little fresh fruit and sometimes no eggs.
