“Spacious room, very clean and amazing breakfast. Professional staff !”
This is a hotel that you wish you could get in an all of your trips. You can`t get a more central location but here I should say for the future tourists that you can enter from Mariahilfer Strasse 32-34 only if you are a pedestrian. If you wanna enter with your car in the underground private parking (you have to pay about 17 or 18 euros a day) you need to go to Lindengasse, a parallel street.
From Mariahilfer Strasse 32-34 you have to go trough a passageway with a Nord See fast - food and some other clothes shops and very important in this passageway you also one of the Neubaugasse Metro Station (U3 orange) entry's. From this station you can visit the entire Vienna.
Back to the beautiful NH Wien. A real four star hotel from the reception to the white sheets. Our room was actually an apartment with a small kitchen (microwave, sink, dishes and glasses for two and a fridge), a living room with a table for four, a sofa, coffee table and a flat LCD with cable TV, a bathroom with two access doors (one form the living and one from the bedroom) and of course the bedroom with a double bed, night stands and another flat LCD. All the furniture was new and modern and they have some organic soaps that smell amazing.
The breakfast was amazing. From fresh orange juice to banana milk and smoked salmon. Cereals, cheese, bacon, egg salad and yogurt. Before the banana milk bottle was empty a member of the staff would come and change it with a new one and this habit applied to all the things in the buffet.
If you want wireless internet you have to pick from two available options. 24 hours for 10 euro with limited bandwidth or one a little bit more expensive but unlimited bandwidth.
From the Neubaugasse Metro Station (U3 orange) you have to go 3 stations until Stephansplatz Metro Station where you can find the Stephansplatz Cathedral, of course. Keep in mind that this is a changing station and if you switch to line U1 (red) and you go another 3 stations you get to Praterstern Bf Metro Station and here as you might guessed is the fantastic Prater.
If you smoke make sure you ask for a room at the first floor
