Suite had 2 rooms, 2 TVs. The living room had a couch, desk, sink and microwave, which could be used to heat water. Instant coffee and tea were supplied. The room had a safe, the bathroom a hairdryer. Iron and ironing board were supplied on request. There was lots of space, the carpet was a bit stained, but clean. The furniture was old enough to be out of fashion, but not old enough to be antique. Maybe you could call it "retro".
Wireless internet was available, but expensive €4 per hour, €10 for 3 hours, etc. For checking email it is easier and cheaper to use an internet cafe or MacDonalds.
The location was a major reason for choosing this hotel, and we were very pleased with it. It is handy for walking to the central attractions. There are plenty of restaurants (at various price levels) and supermarkets nearby. The supermarkets are all closed on a Sunday, but there is a convenience store open 24 hours in a nearby petrol station (Schwedensplatz). There is a direct bus to the airport just at the end of the street on the edge of Schwedensplatz. It goes at 20-30 minute intervals.
When booking, be aware of how the breakfast is described; "buffet breakfast" refers to the full buffet (ham, cheese, eggs, cereal, etc) and "continental breakfast" is also a buffet, but you are limited to the bread, rolls, and jam, etc. The cost of upgrading from continental to buffet is excessive. We got a good deal (including buffet breakfast) from otel.com.
There is one thing which was different. There were lots of channels on the TV. CNN was the only English one. One (about channel 36 or so) was a porn channel. You might want to be careful in letting the kids have the remote. Or maybe some of you will regard this as a good point :-)
