“Excellent accommodations in an eclectic part of town”

I'm not one of the career diplomats who gets a black Mercedes ride across the river to IAEA HQ on the other side of the river. I get to walk or take a taxi but this hotel made me feel like one of those upscale diplomats. The location could not be better. The riding school, the east-meets-west architecture church, the otherworldly feel of the area are all great. The hotel is very comfortable. The staff are efficient beyond comprehension and all guest services are top notch. It's not huge, which is a plus but it's just the right feeling of commerce, tourists and why in the world do I hear the Third Man Theme in my head? Maybe it's that idea of being half a world away in a place that makes me feel at home yet knowing I'm on an adventure.

“Good Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 January 2012

I stayed there for only 1 night in january/2012 with my wife and daughter. The hotel is not so close to any tourist attraction : you need to walk 15 minutes to reach the Opera and the main streets. But the staff is very helpful and we had a great stay. I will consider this hotel in my next visit to Vien.

Fabulous accommodation with large comfy bed. Super duper buffet breakfast including smoked salmon. Bit difficult to find the hotel but otherwise excellent.

“Very nice place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 January 2012

We stayed there for 3 nights and everything was correct. I liked the breakfast menu-many delicious things to choose from! However, the restaurant where the breakfast was served, was crowded and unfortunately I found some hotel guests sitting next to us haven't adjusted their behaviour and manners to the place!
Anyway, the rooms were spacious and ellegant. The subway is next to the hotel so although the hotel is not in the city centre, you can reach it in 10 minutes.
While checking out, we had some problems with payment and as a result, the hotel blocked our money from the credit card for a few days.

All in all, the hotel is worth recommending.
