The location of the hotel is pretty good. It is a short 15-20 minute walk from the center, and it is right next to a u-bahn station. The metro in Vienna is very frequent, so getting to the center is a matter of as little as 5 minutes by that route.

The hotel itself is very nice and clean. There is a computer in the lobby which can be accessed anytime, so if you need to check your email or get some information on the city, it's very good to have. The rooms are modern and very nicely furnished. The only problem is for a tall person (depending on the room), the shower might be a bit small vertically, as well as the bed, but it's not a huge problem.

Also the included breakfast is among the best I've had at a hotel. The selection is very big and can keep you going for a great part of the day.

Hotel was in perefect location - close to TU (conference venue), right next to underground station, and even walking distance to old city town centre. Staff were friendly and provided assistance for every request. Wireless was a bit weak in the room and speed a bit slow at times, but of no great concern.

Located a few steps from a metro stop (red line) which passes underneath the square of Stephansdom. Alternatively it is a 10min walk from Kamtner street, where you can find a lot of shops belonging to well-known companies.

The architecture of the hotel is a classic example of Vienna's buildings, it is in a good state and nice. However the interior, particularly the lobby is somehow dated as well as the furniture of the rooms. The floor of our room was covered with carpet which was dirty with stains. Other rooms had wooden floor. Also the bathroom and the wc were not together as it was in other rooms. The pillows were also dirty apparently due to sweat of other customers, the sheets were clean though.
We had the impression that we were given an inferior room.
Breakfast was satisfactory but service was mediocre.
Staff answered effectively in our questions.

I needed a place to stay for two weeks after a previous holiday plan fell by the wayside.

Whilst the location was excellent; literally a minutes walk to the U-Bahn station. I found the hotel to be a little disappointing. The free Wi-Fi barely worked, and regularly lost connectivity and I was literally upstairs from the reception.

The breakfast was also quite poor, with very little in terms of selection. The eggs and bacon were usually always cold too.

The rooms weren't awful, but the bed certainly was. The pillows were about as thick as the pillow case cover and the bed was quite lumpy.

One excellent positive however is the courteous staff working there. Especially the very attractive blonde behind the reception that had a smile to die for!

I think the hotel is just looking a bit tired and needs to be spruced up a bit.
