This hotel is very well-located in the South of Vienna, but still close to the city center. The subway station is just 20 meters away, from which you can reach every relevant location in Vienna. The hotel is located on a busy road and is not modern but you can imagine, that they renovate it continuously. The style of the hotel might be considered Austrian-classic.

The rooms are ok. The single bedroom features a comfortable bed (approx. 1,20m width). Some ppl might feel that the TV is a bit old fashioned (no-flatscreen). Most importantly, the hotel provides free wifi with sufficient wifi.

The breakfast was also ok, but I missed some things which are common for 4-star hotels (broader selection of ham, cheese, salmon)...

Unfortunately in the particular time frame, they did over-night renovations across the street on the opposite fasade. This was really (partially) noisy during the night and the hotel just left a short note, that they apologized but cannot do anything about it. A different room (not facing the street) or a discount/free drinks on the hotel were not offered. It might be that this is a real exception case and probably should not bother somebody. But still, if your sleep is easily influenced by crowded and noisy night activities, this might not be your hotel (due to the busy road at least).

small and beautiful hotel, in a good location - quiet street just 5-10 minutes walkind distance from the historic center, metro station right outside but we only used it to get to the airport. the rooms are big and comfortable, and the best thing is the free wifi, which isn't all that common. the area just around the hotel has a lot of great restaurants and bars that are occupied more by locals than tourists. the staff is kind and helpful. the breakfast was surprisingly good and diverse, very recommended!!!

This hotel enjoys an excellent location close to the very centre of Vienna, and is also next to the U-bahn station. More, as I attended a conference at the Austrian Diplomatic Academy, the hotel location was more than perfect: just across the street.

The exterior is grand and the rooms are big and comfortable, but some heavy-handed renovation in the 1980's has done away with most of the old style, replacing it with metal fire doors and wall-to-wall carpeting now ready for another replacement.

Price-quality ratio would have been fine if the WiFi had worked in the rooms - or indeed anywhere. It did not, during the entire weekend and Monday. This hampered my plans to get some work done. The manager was most apologetic and explained that the hotel is now under new management and the previous one had left some bills unpaid. Hm.

Was compensated with a bottle of bubbly, but only after hinting about it.

Breakfasts were great, also with bubbly available on the house. My wife enjoyed it for the two first mornings, but not the third one. Hm.

I always seek out smaller hotels when taking a City break holiday. This hotel has friendly helpful staff and my room was comfortable, breakfast great!. The location is ideal, located close to a u-bahn station and in easy walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.
