Very well located stylish hotel, with friendly and helpful front office stuff. The ( large ) rooms are very comfortable and clean.

I considered only few criteria:
1. not too far from public transport station, preferably underground (which routes are much easier to understand than trams)
2. free wifi (some 5-star hotels will charge you for this!)
3. price
4. English speaking desk person
5. cleanness in general
6. private bathroom

The hotel fits all the above, with extra, I got a nice courtyard view room and they have a nicely decorated hallways.

However, it's true that this is a very basic hotel, which you won't find some basic things like water boiler for making tea (not even a glass), hair dryer (not that I need one), no air-cond (not a problem during my stay though).

The biggest issue to me is breakfast is not included and IMHO it's a little steep they charge for one.

If your wanting a lavish hotel in Vienna then this one is not it BUT it is a very comfortable, unusual, and funky place to stay. The rooms though small are comfortable and clean, the beds were very comfortable though sorting out the duvets were fun! The honesty bar was something I'd never come across before and it was great to feel free to help yourself no matter what time of day it was. The staff were all very pleasent and helpful with directions and places to vist. It lacks a small restaurant in it for days when you don't want to travel back into the city and maybe the lighting in the seating area could be changed to warm that area up. Funky pieces of art work around the reception and breakfast room were amazing.

We stayed here for one night and only paid £45 for a large double room. The room had slightly dated decor, but was clean. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was HUGE and amazing. It had double sinks, a toilet, bidet, separate bath, and shower and still had metres upon metres of empty floor space. The bathroom was by far the best part of our stay!

I think we may have been upgraded or got a ridiculously cheap online price as we enquired about staying another night but it was about £30 more expensive and reception said we would have to be changed to a smaller room.

Hotel had free wifi which was great! S-bahn stop right outside, or a short walk to a big station with s-bahns and metro/underground.
