Staff were friendly, efficient and courteous. My room was to a decent standard, as good as any other I've stayed in for work.

Breakfast buffet was plentiful and covered across various food options.

The location of the hotel is not particularly central but a short walk will get you to the subway network.

Two minor niggles, I couldn't cool my room (seemed stuck at 22°C which was a bit warm for me at night). Also would have been nice to have free WiFi, it's available for 30 minutes in the lobby/bar area but you have to purchase it in your room though this seemed to be the case at other hotels (though not all).

We stayed here for a weekend sightseeing in Vienna. The hotel is obviously focusses on the business client but we found the location to be OK if you dont mind getting on the metro.

As others have said, it takes around 15 minutes but the journey is easy and the area felt safe to walk around at night if returning after dark.

The staff were friendly, and happily gave us a brief explaination of the area when asked. We were also given a voucher for a free drink which was a nice surprise.

The room was large and well equipped with large mirrors. We found it strange that despite confirming with reception that there were 2 people staying, our room seemed to be repeatedly made for only one. We had a single duvet on the bed, one sachet of coffee and one herbal tea. No milk, no tea. Staff offered to provide more tea and coffee straight away, but our room was made up in the same way the next day.

The mini bar was poorly stocked, but we hadnt intended to use it anyway.

In terms of the immediate surrounding area, there is nothing to see or do of any note. There is a small supermarket closeby. We chose to stay in the centre to eat an evening meal, returning late evening for a drink in the hotel. Since we were shattered from walking round, this suited us fine.

The transport links to the airport are excellent, with a fantastic bus service from right outside the hotel door to the airport terminal. At 7euros one way, we thought this was good value and very convenient.

I wouldn't rush back here, but the hotel served us very well for a budget city break and I would reccommend to others for the same purpose.

I was here on business for one night and it was fine for me as I needed to go to an office that was a stone's throw from the hotel but it is quite a journey from the centre.

I didn't have breakfast but I understand it was very busy and difficult to get to the food, however the hotel was sold out.

If you are a tourist and want to explore Vienna, then this is probably not the right hotel for you. It lies outside the city, in a deserted office area, a 10-15 minute ride on the metro to Stephansplatz. If, on the other hand, you have business in the Vienna International Centre this is the perfect choice. Just steps away, and offering all the usual amenities of a NH hotel. Can' t remember much of my room (stayed there in October 2010), other than it was perfectly adequate. There is a bus from the airport that leaves you just a short distance from the entrance, much cheaper and as fast as a taxi.
