I have been already to this hotel twice, or three times. The hotel is about ten minutes walk from the Opera across the bridge next to Operngasse. Therefore you can reach Albertina, Kartnerstrasse and all sightseeing very fast. The rooms are sparkling clean, very good beds and sheets. Bathroom has a bath, hairdryer and herbal shampoos. Breakfast is solid, good buffet. It is a small comfortable hotel, which I prefer. It is situated in a quite street, there is a restaurant on the corner. It is not easy to find with a car, so take a good map. The bellboy parks your car in a nearby parking place. The service is very good, friendly. We were two couples, they gave us automatically rooms next to each other. We got a complementary sparkling wine in each room. We tried two restaurants in Vienna, Vestibel and Danieli, Danieli was excellent Italian food, make a reservation. Vestibel is interesting for the location. Also a must is Cafe Hawelka for its boheme atmosphere and Cafe Landtmann for its opulent breakfast with Apfelstrudel and eggs. I definitely recommend Kaiserhof for a nice stay in Vienna. I will come back.

The place is not luxurous, rather a quite acceptable standard and centrally located. Better than a business-hotel chain, but prices are not too bad. I expecially enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Free Internet is also complimentary. This hotel has a long history and the building is relatively old, thus there is not much more than could be done. It has everything you need, not unnecessary perks, which would just make it expensier. I'd say quite OK for a business trip. It does not make an impression when you arrive, but after a couple of nights you may appreciate the relative simplicity of the place.

Just back from Vienna. Stayed in the Kaiserhof Wien with a friend for four nights. It was incredible value. The location is perfect, so central. The room was perfect - warm, modern and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious. The staff were so friendly. Especially the receptionist, Crista. The weather was very cold but as Vienna is such a beautiful city, it didn't even matter. I'm going to go back during the Summer and I'll be staying here again.

The Kaiserhof was established about 115 years ago. It is located at walking distance from the city center.
The rooms are nice. The service is friendly. The breakfast buffet is satisfying.
I especially enjoyed the engravings and old pictures displayed in the halls and corridors.
By the way this was my second stay in this hotel (the previous one was with my family about 3 years ago).
