We arrived late at night and checked in with an infant--the front desk staff was amazingly helpful and upgraded us to a suite. They also brought a crib and bedding for the baby, and gave him a toy truck and a rubber duck to play with! I thought that was a really nice touch. The suite was beautiful, though I could tell that the carpeting and furniture will probably need updating in about a year or so. The furnishings seemed sort of basic for the type of hotel and room. The king size bed was actually two twin beds pushed together, giving it that weird "seam" in between and making it awkward to sleep. The bathroom was ok, with a separate toilet room with bidet, but there was a bathtub/shower combo, which again was surprising given the room type. Centrally located, next to many quaint areas, the University, and the Ring. I thought it was the perfect location for leisurely strolls and very near major attractions. Overall I enjoyed it and will stay again.

I stayed at this hotel during my visit to Vienna for a convention that I attended. Overall the room was fine and clean .Breakfast was good. However my sweatshirt was stolen from my room. It was a gift from my mother who passed away a few years ago, so it left me devastated. The hotel manager tried to help but the sweatshirt could not be found as a result and they implied that I could have lost it somewhere else. I am absolutely sure that I did not take the sweatshirt out of the room during my visit so it was stolen for sure.

My husband and I had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Hilton Vienna Plaza hotel in July 2011.
Reception was great and conceirge terrific. Conceirge arranged tickets to an Opera at the State Opera House which was wonderful. We had seats in the 5th row fron the front. Great experience. We ate at the Tapas restaurant many times for lunch and dinner. The food was great and service very friendly. It was good to be able to try many of the dishes on the very varied menu. Breakfast was great as well. Our room was an executive room and was well appointed and we really enjoyed our stay. Concerige arranged Hop on Hop Off bus tickets and we visited many of the sights including Schronnbrun Palace. We were a little disappointed with the Palace as we had seen it on film and also the replica at the Andre Rieu concert iin Sydney. This is a magnificient Palace but the grounds were a disappointment.
Everyone was most courteous and helpful at the Hilton.and we would definitely recommend this hotel.

Vienna is such a beautiful city and the architecture of this hotel unfortunately does not fit. Don't let the outside fool you, this is an excellent hotel: Great breakfast, rooms, beds and service. I have Hilton HHONORS Diamond status and ths is one of my favorite Hilton Hotels.
I absolutely enjoyed my stay. The location is excellent too. The '1' and 'D' tram stops right in front of the hotel and takes you to the major attractions in town. The hotel has also a beautiful executive suite on the top floor with a balcony overlooking Vienna.
