The hotel was in a very good location, very close to the main area of Vienna. There was a flight of stairs to climb with suitcases, although this was not too difficult. The room was clean and the hospitality very good. There was an honesty box for alcoholic drinks and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was varied and of very good quality. Overall an excellent stay.

For simple accommodations in a great location and great price, pick the Hotel Pension Shermin. It was easy to book. Commmunication was great. Access was made simple. Do not expect a big and fancy place...some may think this is a negative but it is not intended that way. This is a pension and it is not meant for you to spend all your time there. The idea is SEE Vienna. There is a GREAT pub next door (with the green door) that served great schnitzel and beer. The hotel is located on a corner of a major street which made it easy to find things. Also a drug store is just a few feet away and a grocery store is across the street making getting a few extra things easy. Do not hesitate in booking this location.

We stayed here several nights and enjoyed it quite a bit. It's location is very central, the rooms were very clean, and the staff was extremely personable and helpful.

Wonderfully accessible location. Excellent value. Friendly staff and high standard of cleanliness.
What's not to love..
I am intrigued. Breakfast is "FREE" what is meant by a previous reviewer "nothing special"
