The hotel is in the centre of the city, close to Stephensdom and the opera house. It was a great place to be based to explore all over the city.

We were given a room in the other building just up the road from the main hotel. After one night we asked to be moved in to the main hotel as the room was smoking (we requested non-smoking) and we didn't want to have to go outside to get to breakfast. The lady on reception was very helpful and found us another room. As it was early and the room was not ready the hotel staff moved our bags for us during the day so that we could go out and enjoy our day without having to go back to the hotel. We really appreciated this and it was great to get back to the hotel after a day exploring the city to find our bags safely in the new room. It was a lovely room on the top floor with a great view over the city. We didn't find it noisy at all.

The buffet breakfast at the hotel is good with lots of choice and as it was included in the room rate overall we found it good value. If you want tea/coffee making facilities you need to ask as they don't seem to be provided as standard but again the staff were very friendly and brought us a kettle and tea tray within 5 minutes of asking.

I would stay here again if visiting Vienna and would recommend the hotel to others.

This hotel was right in center of Vienna. You can walk to many attractions in less than 15 mins. Excellent location! Metro station was only 5 mintues away. Room was a bit too small and walls were quite thin. If you are looking for quiet place, this might not be the right one.

If you are after great location hotel, this is definitely it!

Hotel is nice and just near St. Stephen´s Cathedral, metro and bus to the airport!
Receptionists are very friendly. Rooms are not big, but designed and it´s better to look photos of the hotel, especially bathroom before, not to complain latter :)

This Hotel is ideal if you are looking for an accomodatione close to the center and Stephanplatz. It is not a luxurious hotel but cheap clean and comfortable. People working in Mercure is friendly and helpful. The only defect is that the hotel could be a bit noisy during the night. It is closed to some bars and pubs and during one night we were disturbed by some drunk people. Wifi connection is free just in the hall. No free wifi connection in the rooms.
