We stayed here for one night during the Bregenz Opera: We found the hotel to be mediacore at best. Although the location is very good (but very difficult to fine), right in front of the opera house and outdoor stage, there is a lot to be desired.

Rooms are small (tiny) even for European standards. Breakfast was OK, with extremely bad service ("no, we cannot offer you a table while your partner is still powdering up in the room" - and "no, we don't have any more croissants" (at 09:00 AM), with the hotel fully booked).

It all has a very 80's feel, with yellow wood and reds. Also for this price: there are far better properties in the city (Four Points Dornbrinn is an excellent choice).

The hotel is ideally placed close to the lake and in the park surrounding the open air theatre. Rooms are very comfortable but it is better to ask for rooms on the lake side of the hotel as rooms at the back suffer from the noise of the railway station close buy. Restaurant is good though a little expensive. Breakfast selection is fantastic. Unfortunately hotel doesn't have a conventional Wifi connection and you have to connect via a cable attached to the television - not very simple!

Had a short stopover in Bregenz but this was one of the better Mercure hotels I stayed in on this trip. Nice surroundings right beside Lake Constance. Enjoyable stroll along on the way to town. 5mins walk away and there is a street market every Tuesday and Friday.

Got this hotel by Accor 50% discount promo and were more than satisfied. The most central and convenient location. Exceptional cleanliness and comfort in the room. Attentive and helpful front desk even at our very late check-in. Very cheap for Europe parking price. Highly recommend.
