Stayed for 3 nights, rooms are clean and big. No shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom and the rooms at night were very very warm we had to sleep with the window slightly open and that seemed to work. We had a massage here to and it was very good, we were given a glass of prosecco and orange after it and we were very impressed! We did two days skiing, as we were beginners we just had lessons with 'Kirchberg' Ski Activ at Fleckalmbahn and on the second day, Reith. This was only up the road 10 minutes on the free ski bus. You can also hire equipment at the hotel! Which was great for us as we didn't have to go anywhere!
The restaurant was fantastic, our waitress spoke good english and she was very attentive. Menu's were in both english and german. The food was Austrian style but it was delicious. Breakfast buffet was great too.
The only down side to this hotel was the location to kitzbuhel 15euro in a taxi for a 5 minute drive. Needless to say we didn't go into kitzbuhel at all! only to get to the train station. If you are looking for a relaxed holiday this would be fantastic... There were mainly old couples and families with young kids here. If you are looking for a younger crowd and a more happening place you should book elsewhere. There was a good bar and a pool table here which was good for a quiet night to keep busy. The other thing to note is that in Austria you are allowed to smoke indoors, the smoke could be smelt in our room two floors up. As a non smoker I had difficulty staying in smoky area's of the bar. We just opened a window in our room and the smoke seemed to go away, I can't stand the smell of it so if I was staying here again I would try and get a room as far away from the bar as possible. Apart from that I had a very nice stay, the views were amazing.
