didnt know what to expect- booked in jan. all aspects of the hotel are first class, staff are friendly and willing to help, all areas are clean, the overall experience was excellent. stayed for 2 weeks on half board, great choice for breakfast and the evening meals are varied and cooked to the highest standards, well presented, and all with fresh local ingredients. thanks to everyone and hopefully would return again.

Stayed here in June at the end of a rail tour of Austria. Welcome was great and quick. Hotel is well situated in the town but it is a bit away from the railway station. Close to Hannenkam cable car.
Room was large and well presented. We had a great view out our room window to the Wilder Kaiser.
Good buffet breakfast and lovely 5 course evening meal. The first night we had steak. It was huge and beautifully cooked. The next Pork with an amazing sauce.
Slight downside was that the hotel were sponsoring a golf event and the entertainment went on quite late one night. However it didn't bother us too much but the staff seemed to give more of their attention to the golfers.
The person who checked us out just did what she had to do i.e. there was no small talk from her. Would have been nice to have been asked if everything was OK.

Visited in early August for a wedding. The hotel was great. Rooms were big with wonderful views up the mountains. The staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed half board and the food was excellent - 5 course meals in the evening. House wine (that you had to buy) was good. The hotel has a bar outside which we made a lot of use of. All in all, a top hotel. Will have to come back for a ski season in the future!

We spent 3 days in gorgeous Kitzbuhel and will certainly return. Hotels are of a high standard but the Sport has the added bonus of being right in the middle of things with their own (free) parking opposite. We travelled in Sept and some of the other hotels seemed a little quiet, so the Sport was a great choice, good food, good restaurant if you want an evening meal, big very comfortable room, very helpful professional service. Would recommend without hesitation.
