I've spent a week in this hotel with my girlfriend at the beginning of august 2011 . My impression was very good starting from the reservation procedures. The staff was very quick, efficient and kind during our correpondence. Eventually, I decided to book a golf package including 5 green fee and 7 night bb stay.
The staff is very good, gentle and professional, especially a blonde girl at the reception who welcomed and checked in us and. They gave us a very good service, providing informations, suggestion for restaurants, booking tee time etc. They were very kind in every situations.
Then, since there was a wedding, upon arrival I was upgraded in superior room for my entire stay even if I had a reservation in standard room...
Breakfast is very cool and rich and was very satisfying with a wide variety of products. Even when we asked extra food non inclued in buffet they gave us with no problems.
We had only one dinner at the restaurant and that was maybe the worst we experimented in this hotel: they were wrong with an apetizer they did not bring to us and the rates were too high for the quality and quantity of food. Then, in such an hotel, I would have expected a more typical cuisine.
The Bar service was very good; very nice cocktail and professional staff, especially a guy called MARIO! he is the best.
Regarding the hotel itself, it is fantastic; a mix of old tyrolese style, mixing modern design. You are surrounded by wood and the atmosphere is very cosy and warm, even if the hotels is big (around 160 rooms).
Room large, very clean furnished in a traditional tyrolese style with all moodern conforts, including free internet wifi connections
Fantastic dining room, very romantic; fantastic swimming pool and fitness area, the best you can have for relaxing with apls view.
Only one suggestion: in such hotel, I will provide complimentary international newspapers for guests...(but it is just a suggestion).
Then, the surround are very nice. In 5 minutes you can walk down to Kitzbuhel and in 15 minutes you have 2 golf courses (very nice Schwarzsee GC that is challenging while Wilder kaiser GC is too easy with too wide fairways).
Last but not least a nice story regarding the garage....you have to pay for it (8 € per day) and, since the average guest car are cayenne, panamera, x5...etc, you expect every guest to park into the garage while every nigh there was several such cars parked on the right side of the ramp to go down...this should be forbidden (i think if you have a cayenn you may have 8 € to pay the garage....) since one morning I had to wait 15 minutes a car was moved to exit the garage with may poor WV GOLF...this is ridicoulous isn't it??
Finally, I strongly suggest this hotel, and hope will be back in the future
Finally, I strongly suggest
