The location is perfect, right next to the bus, rail and walking distance to downtown. For the money, an excellent value. However, the decor is stark, european sized (small), and the beds are very hard (also a european norm). Free internet is nice, and the breakfast is really good. There is no taxi service, so you must call in advance. The place closes at night, so don't expect to place a request for a wakeup call at 1AM. Your card lets you into the hotel late at night. The whole town closes at 6PM except on Thurs and Fri when they close at 8PM. Only restaurants and bars are open beyond that. This town has a small city feel, and everyone seems so friendly and open. Remember that bicycles rule in this city, so don't walk in th bicycle lane. Also, if there is no light at the crossing, the cars will almost always give you right of way to walk across the designated lanes. The people here seem to follow the rules in every sense. I did not see a single person walk when the red light for crossing was on (even when there were no cars to be seen). All around, the hotel is great for what it is, an inexpensive place to sleep and rest, with a great location central to all the sights. Don't expect the kind of service you get at a high end hotel in the states.
Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the mountains. Really amazing.
