We were in Innsbruck for a friend's wedding and so I stayed overnight with another old school friend. The hotel is central and convenient for Innsbruck, which itself is not a large city.
Unfortunately the reception were not terribly interested in helping us and it required a considerable effort to gain assistance. Though we were aware that parking might be an extra (from the LastMinute.com notes) we were quite surprised that they charged us €13/night extra!
The shock of the stay was when we arrived in the room. The bathroom was glass! And entirely transparent save a very thin strip of ground-glass semi-opacity protecting a small amount of modesty. Accordingly anyone can see anything in the shower or lavatory. Perhaps were one a couple this would not be as awkward, but despite us two chaps knowing each other very well, it wasn't perhaps what we'd been hoping for. They even termed the room a 'business triple' (our third friend pulled out at the last moment).
Anyway, there was no air-conditioning, nor a fridge nor reliable WiFi signal (though it was apparently free). It was very hot all night and so all in all, though it was clean and breakfast was fine, we were fairly disappointed and certainly would not plan to stay there again.
