My husband and I have stayed at the Goldener Winkel in Innsbruck three times.
Rooms are simple, warm and clean. Bathrooms are spotless. The host is lacking in personality but the location, cleanliness and cost make up for it.
Morning coffee is strong and fabulous with the traditional German/Austrian breakfast of fresh rolls and cold cuts.
You can walk to the old centre of Innsbruck from the hotel, and it is directly on a tram line. You couldn't ask for more for the price.
