We found the Pension Goldener Winkel to be more than adequate for the price. I believe we paid $85 for three people. The hotel is walkable to the Altstadt. Our room was simple, quite spacious and very clean. There was no phone, TV or radio.
We thought that the owner/manager was a bit 'cold' and unfriendly but, since he wasn't staying the night with us, we really didn't care!

We were traveling for 18 days and the breakfast at this hotel was the most meager offering we came across.
Ask for a room off the main street to reduce bus and car noise.
I would stay at this hotel again.
