This was an average hotel with a helpful staff and a relatively close location. We did need to take the bus across the river but it was only one stop after that and a short walk down the street.
The rooms looked a little dated (1970's) but they were clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was decent and we felt that our belongings were very safe in our room even while we were gone.
They had a decent breakfast buffet and their staff was young and very helpful when we had questions about getting to see some of the sights. This hotel was a good value and if you're in Innsbruck, you don't want to spend too much time in your hotel room anyways since the city is so beautiful.

I stayed at the Hotel Tautermann in May, It isnt a a luxury hotel but an hotel with an excellent location close to the center, clean, and with a great breakfast. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help. The rooms are very large. The hotel doen not have free parking, but you can park the car and leave the keys for the employees to park and change paking spot if needed.
I recommend anyone who wants a hotel near the center with a friendly price.

Our family of five stayed in two rooms at the Tautermann on a recent vacation, largely because my wife and I had stayed there nearly thirty years earlier and found it charming. Unfortunately, the charm had diminished greatly during those thirty years and it is now more a ski hotel than a pension.

On a positive note, it was reasonably priced, clean, and the breakfast was very good. As others have noted, though, it was a bit of a hike up a fairly steep hill on the other side of the river from the central part of Innsbruck. The rooms were adequate, but fairly small.

Certainly a satisfactory place to stay,but I wonder if we couldn't have found better......

I spend a night with my girlfriend in this hotel attending an event in innsbruck.

Location:
Located close to the old town and public transport (Marktplatz), a little walk up the hill.
Quite a good place to start from for sightseeing and shopping. Qiet area, no traffic.

Rooms:
The room was very small, also the bathroom. It was very clean. The bed was not comfortable to me, even due to the fact im not to picky about that.
Even tho the area is quiet, the rooms are very noisy; you can hear everyone talkin in other rooms or outside the rooms.

Services and staff:
Friendly and helpful staff.
WiFi is offered

Breakfast:
Basic breakfast, expect nothing fancy.

Parking:
Don't go there by car unless you don't mind handig out your car keys to the personell. The parking is like "stacked" on an downhill surface, and hotel staff is moving cars for other gests to get out of the parking lot. Had to watch an accident while somebody was parking out, luckily it was not my car that was hit.
