This hotel was of the general high quality that you can count on at Hilton Hotels around the world. I chose this hotel because of this but also because i needed a hotel within walking distance of the Train station.

Staff at the hotel restaurant were a little overbearing and it was probably the least delicious meal that i had in Europe but thats what you get in hotels rather than dedicated local restaurants i guess.

If i were to do the trip again i would probably stay at the Ibis Innsbruck as the hotel is located in the train station and would be really convenient in Winter, rather than walking in rain and snow.

Overall good stay, high quality fittings, comfy bed and helpful staff.

The hotel is just walking distance from the train station and city centre. Our room was on 10th floor and the view was amazing. Room was big but they were not able to provide us a king size bed instead they provided us two single beds. The breakfast was just OK. The staff was very helpul. Would recommend people to take rooms only above 8th floor to have a great view.

On check-in and mentioning that we were on our honeymoon, they upgraded us to a king room on the top floor with a lovely view over Innsbruck. We had room 1414 for 2 nights.

The room had a king bed, flat screen TV, desk, mini-bar, 2 chairs, table, tea and coffee making facilities, room service is available, a large bathroom with under floor heating and nice decor.

The hotel brought champagne and strawberries to our room which was lovely!

At check-in they also provided us with a map, and were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is 5 minutes walk to the Old Town and the train station.

There was a full buffet breakfast which was great and they were very attentive with their service.

Great location: 2 blocks from the train station, walking distance to "Old Innsbruck", caters to skiers with a shop around the corner and a bus to the mountains.

Helpful friendly staff.

All ruined by **SMOKE**. If you are sensitive to cigarette smoke, don't even bother. The whole hotel is marked with no-smoking signs but apparently that doesn't actually mean anything. We arrived the first night and couldn't escape the smoke pouring in from the bathroom ventilation. If we hadn't pre-paid the rooms thru Orbitz (no refunds), we would have checked out and gone elsewhere.

The staff moved us to a higher floor further away from the casino, but we couldn't escape the smoke entirely. Granted it wasn't as bad, but the smell was still there, especially in the bathrooms.

I feel bad for the staff as they were genuinely trying to be helpful, but they are caught in a no-win situation due to the building's ventilation.
