this hotel was overall a good value for what you pay. it was located at the center of city for the most part. shops, restaurants, and bars were a few minutes walk from our hotel. this was very convenient for us. the staff was for the most part very accommodating. the only draw back was that, THERE ARE NO AIR CONDITIONING UNITS!!!!!...we were luck to be there when the weather was nice and cool. i dont know if all the room were like this, but we had to ask for a fan for our room.

The location is great as it is close to the city centre thus most of the attractions, shops and restaurants are within walking distance. The rooms are ok however beware if you are going to stay in this hotel during the hot season as not all the rooms are equipped with AC. Only the 3 and 4 bedded rooms have AC. You can ask for a fan however since the rooms are targeted to maintain heat it can be still very hot especially rooms facing the sun. Breakfast was ok - fruit, nuts, cereal, scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon (too oily), yoghurt, croissants, etc. When the basket of croissants was emptied they did not replenish it and thus if you had a late bfast you could miss certain items. Dinner at the hotel's main restaurant was very disappointing: we always found the uncovered bread on our tables and so you can imagine the freshness of the bread; food was edible however nothing special; and the whole dinner 'experience' was ruined by the most arrogant waiter - Ibrahim. All the other waiters were friendly but this particular waiter was very rude as he also tried to ridicule the people with comments he could have easily done without. Receptionists were always nice and helpful.

Probably all the answers are "yes", but I can only remember the lack of air conditioning and the terrible night I had

We splurged on our holiday and booked a 4 star hotel in the heart of Innsbruck, and were overall disappointed by hotel central. The room smelt, but then the corridor smelt too. No air-conditioning meant that we had a terrible nights sleep. I went to the bar for a beer and to do some work, and the batman hastily poured me a beer which went only about 2/3rds of the way up the glass (froth included). Now he was busy, but this for a 4 star location? I don't think so. It's location is excellent and the staff were helpful, and breakfast was very good, but no wifi in the rooms, no air and a generally cheap atmosphere made our stay feel like we had splurged for no reason really.
