Me and my boyfriend (and the dog) stayed at Leipziegerhof in early December this year and we were very pleased with both the structure and service. Ideal for couples, i recommend you to request the room 502 top floor, a mini-suites with stunning views no extra charge.
Willingly accept animals and speak fluent English and some Italian.
The location is perfect, a 10-minute walk from downtown. Excellent value for money (in doubleroom 500 euros for three nights stay).

Clean and comfortable room. About a 10-15 minute walk from the old city and about 5-7 minutes walk from the train station. Across the street from a park that leads to cycling and walking trails. Very good breakfast. Very quiet. I would stay there again.

This is a very good hotel, centerly located. Staff was friendly. Excelent price.

Some hotels are regal and pride themselves on luxury... this hotel prided itself on being warm, inviting, friendly and very clean.

As a solo traveller, I stayed in a single room with a twin bed. The room (sleeping area and bathroom) wascasually decorated, organized, but above all, very clean. Towels provided as necessary, reception was accomodating to needs, bathroom spotless. Toilet area was a little tight, but adequate. WiFi access in the room was very good; dropped the odd time, but reliable on the whole with decent speed.

I rated the sleep quality a 3 for two reasons: (1) I am accustomed a very firm mattress; the mattress in my room was softer in nature... personal preference. (2) either in the hotel or next door, there was construction/renvoation work which STARTED at 8am.

Breakfast buffet was included and quite ample. The selection ensured you did not start your day hungry. The ladies servicing the room were warm and friendly also.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. All members spoke English (not perfect, but much better than my German!). They were helpful in giving directions & calling tourist locations to ensure they were open. On checkout day they happily stored my bags so I could spend additional time in the city.

Location wise, the hotel is a 6-8 min walk from the train station, so you can save the cab fare. It is approximately a 15 min walk to the old city centre. I made the walk in both broad daylight and after midnight... area always felt safe. Gave location a 4 only in that you will get wet if it rains, which given where Innsbruck is, it will from-time-time.
