If we could give a MINUS rating this hotel would get on! Grossly over-priced, we were given a very small room with a postage stamp sized bathroom, no (free) wi-fi, no (free) parking which had been advertised, TV with only 3 channels - none in English, no bar or restaurant and almost constant noice from both inside and outside the hotel. Staff were very unfriendly with no sign of thanks or appreciation and lots of scowls from breakfast staff and particularly when checking out.

I've been there twice to attend a sport event, both times I had a nice stay. The hotel has a fantastic location: in 5 minutes you go to the railways station, in 10 to the main square, there's simply everything you need around your hotel. People at the reception has always been very nice with me and helpful. The breakfast room is quite big and there's a good selection of food, if you leave early in the morning they even give you something to take with you. Furniture of the rooms were a bit old and the rooms themselves were not very big, but they were clean. Considering everything, above all location ad prices, it's a ok place. I would have liked to have internet in the room, it was available only in the lobby for additional price.

Sorry I have to disagree with the last reviewer, may be different people like different types of beds, and whilst soft beds are fine for some, they are no good if you sometimes get backache! The bed bases were built up on wooden slats which fell apart on us once and we had to re-make them!
The rooms are small, and the ensuite bathrooms are as tiny as can be (built into bedrooms in a corner, they haven't always been there!) but will suffice for a short stay.
Service is OK and breakfast is adequate. Other reviewers have complained about noise but we didn't experience any in our four night stay there, despite the town centre location which you don't expect to be quiet all the time.
The big thing here is location, the bus from the airport drops you right outside the hotel, you are right in the centre of the beautiful town of Innsbruck and the views of the mountains are stunning. Within a short walk of the hotel is the furnicular railway which will take you right the way up the mountain!
