This is a little golden nuggets of a place. I'm loathed to say how nice it really is for fear of it being spoilt! Fantastic gastronomy. Very helpful, friendly and bilingual staff. Beautiful setting overlooking Innsbruck yet within easy reach by bus or tram. Mountain backdrop to die for! Very warm and homely atmosphere. In one - idylic! Only criticism - mattress slightly too firm for me but got used to it...very much a preference.

Reasonably priced hotel situated just outside Innsbruck. Our room had windows spanning one entire wall which looked out over the city of Innsbruck and the snow-capped mountains that surround it. Just beautiful. The room was clean, bathroom was compact but functional. However, no soap was provided. Free internet was available in the lobby area. Car parking was free (you really need a car to get to this hotel). A full buffet breakfast was included in the room rate - very delicious. We had a traditional Austrian soup at the hotel restaurant; can't remember what it was called, but it was a clear broth over a dumpling. So delicious! Must try. Overall we enjoyed out stay at this hotel.

Located on a working farm, this is a pretty and very charming and peaceful place to stay if you do not want to stay right in downtown or the old square of Innsbruck. You do need a car to get here (located just outside of Innsbruck, In Aldrans) but it is well worth the 15-30" trip and parking is free. The rooms are vintage but still very clean. Our room was priced for two people so it was about 90 EU. The bed was comfortable by European standards but certainly nowhere near as soft as American beds. They do not provide soap or shampoo. Our room featured an incredible view of the Alps; really breathtaking. The price included a marvelous breakfast in the restaurant with views of the Austrian Alps. The restaurant also serves delicious dinner at an affordable price in the beautiful restaurant. The building itself is very old with all its original oak woodwork and gorgeous tile and wood floors. Don’t let the cow manure smell scare you away when you first get out of your car, you do not notice any of this smell in the hotel, whatsoever. The milking cows are located in a barn right next to the hotel!
