I stayed here with a group tour and it was wonderful. The rooms had lots of wood and the bathrooms were very clean and modern. Nice comfortable beds. We had full board here and the dinner was exceptional for a hotel restaurant - delicious soup, chicken, potatoes, vegetables, and dessert! I can't really comment on the price because it was part of a package so I'm not sure!

“Great beds, great food, and bowling across the lane”
Mostwastl is the best place we stay on our annual tour of Europe (or on my annual tour of Europe - I bring a different group of students and parents each year). It's affordable for a group used to hostels, but it is classy, spacious, and friendly.

“What an experience!!”
This hotel is a wonderful breath of fresh air. You are 10 minutes away from Salzburg by car but feel like you are taking in the experience of having the Alps in your backyard. We stayed here in April 2007. The atmosphere was unbelievable with a beer garden that was alive with activity but the evenings were quiet and relaxing. We opened up our back french doors and it felt like you could touch the mountains. The rooms were quite large especially in relation to your typical European lodging. The staff was friendly and the price was very affordable. If I were to head back to Salzburg (one of the best cities to go to in Europe) I would definitely stay here again and hopefully for a few more days.
